Welcome! I am Odelya Kadosh, a dedicated mental health professional committed to supporting adults as they work toward personal growth and emotional wellness. Healing from trauma is a deeply personal journey, and finding a place where you feel truly seen and heard is the first step to reclaiming your narrative. My academic foundation is where my work began. I obtained a Master of Science in Education in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Miami and a Master of Arts in Social Work specializing in Crisis and Trauma Studies from Tel Aviv University. This dual background allows me to provide a unique therapeutic perspective that addresses both immediate needs and long-term healing. In addition, I am a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and an EMDRIA Certified Therapist.

My work is rooted in the belief that healing is possible for everyone. I believe in a holistic, trauma-informed approach to wellness, recognizing that the mind and body are inextricably linked. With over ten years of experience, I provide a warm, collaborative, and highly person-centered space where I specialize in supporting adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and relationship challenges. You are always the expert of your own experience; my role is not to direct you, but to walk alongside you as a steady source of support.

To tailor each session to your unique needs, I draw on a rich blend of evidence-based modalities, including EMDR, mindfulness, meditation, and other restorative, strengths-based practices. I provide telehealth services exclusively, allowing me to offer flexible and accessible care to clients residing in Maryland, Virginia, and Florida.

In our work together, we move away from labeling symptoms as personal flaws and instead focus on understanding how your history has shaped your present. This approach prioritizes your physical and emotional safety, autonomy, and collaboration above all else. You will never be rushed or pressured to share more than you are ready for. Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) i
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a specialized, evidence-based therapy designed to help your brain heal from traumatic memories, anxiety, and distressing life experiences. Unlike traditional talk therapy, EMDR uses gentle, rhythmic eye movements or taps (bilateral stimulation) to help your brain reprocess stuck, painful memories. Rather than forcing you into a single, rigid type of treatment, we work together to combine the best parts of various methods—like exploring your past, practicing present-day coping skills, or focusing on mindfulness. This allows us to look at the whole picture of who you are and tailor our sessions to whatever helps you feel most supported, heard, and empowered in your healing journey.

Individual therapy sessions are 55 minutes. The investment reflects the quality of personalized, evidence-based care you receive.

Payment is accepted via credit/debit card and HSA/FSA.

Insurance & Coverage

I am currently an out-of-network provider and do not bill insurance directly. Many insurance plans offer out-of-network mental health benefits — you may be eligible for partial reimbursement.

How Out-of-Network Works

You pay the session fee at the time of service, and I provide a detailed superbill (itemized receipt) that you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement.

Before your first session, ask your insurer:

  • Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits?
  • What is my deductible and has it been met?
  • What percentage is reimbursed per session?
  • How do I submit a superbill for reimbursement?

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

Your therapy sessions are a dedicated time reserved exclusively for you. I understand that life can be unpredictable and schedules change; however, in order to maintain a consistent and sustainable practice, I require at least 24 hours' notice for any cancellations or rescheduling requests.

  • If you cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours before your appointment, no fees will be incurred.
  • Appointments cancelled, rescheduled, or missed with less than 24 hours' notice will be subject to the full session fee of $190.
  • Cancellations for Monday sessions must be made by the corresponding time on Friday.

Please note that insurance companies and out-of-network benefits do not reimburse for missed or late-cancelled sessions; this fee will be your direct financial responsibility.
